Influenza, a cautionary tale

This flu season is no joke and nothing to take chances with. I'm hearing stories of medically induced comas and pneumonia related complications with this year's nasty strain.

Scott, I hope you're feeling much better, hopefully your appointment today will yield good news.

Had a CAT scan Friday to rule out varied liver and pancreas issues. Radiologist quickly read and my doc's nurse relayed the good news later that day - no organ abnormalities. Lab work Monday confirmed Lipase levels and liver panel were totally normal. So it appears the pancreatitis has subsided and may indeed have been an offshoot of the flu!
