Hi guys!
We have recently got an Indian Ring Neck around a month ago, she is a little cutie (At times haha) Shes 2 years old and her name is Kiwi I don't know what her relationship was like with my Uncle however he had to get rid of her because he had to take her eggs away which led to her getting aggressive with the family.
We got her and tamed her as much as possible
Kiwi has been acting up recently. We bought her a wooden ladder and one day put it on the mirror. Since that day she has got obsessed with the mirror. When she is without it she'll go mad. squaking, flying around trying to tell us to put the ladder up. We've stopped doing it as much but she's started to get a little bit aggressive at times. She gave me a nasty bite a few days ago. She can't seem to want to do anything but stay on the mirror. I have heard that this is bad for birds perception of reality and I wondered if you guys have any advice on taming her and making her a happier bird?
She also sometimes has a wet nose? not on a constant basis but once a few times a week. I wondered if this is something to worry about to?
Thanks so much!
Rach
