I recorded Venus in her super, nesty activity so others can see and learn. This is Venus and as you can see, she's trying to feed her spoon. This has been happening for the last two weeks. Just a share to understand your fids activities.

Something new and totally out of left field last night. Since we brought Venus home in January, she has been great about staying on or on top of her cage. Since she is feeling "nesty", we now lock her in her cage when we leave or are not in the house. Typically her cage is unlocked, she opens and closes her door as she comes and goes, as soon as the sun goes down, she puts herself to bed and you don't mess with the princess while she is sleeping. Last night I woke around 1:00 am to a lot of noise. I thought it was Canelo, our bulldog, getting into something, but when I sat up in bed, he was sleeping in his kennel. I walk into the living room, follow the noise and find Venus, in the kitchen, shredding a box of pasta SHE pulled from the pantry. I was shocked, this is a first. I made Husband get up and look because he wouldn't believe me. I picked her up, put her in her cage and locked it. She's on total lockdown now. I've been reading Ekkie sites trying to get an idea of the "nesty" period and haven't found any definitive time frames. I hate locking her down but after last night, I can't risk her getting out and getting hurt. Activities just seem to be escalating so I'm hoping we are closing that "nesty" time frame.
