This tea is so easy to make and have on hand for those times you want something warm and citrusy, especially if you're feeling a bit snuffly or have a sore throat.
2 Lemons, thinly sliced
1 Orange, thinly sliced
2 inches Ginger Root, peeled and mashed
1 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder
1 Cup Raw Organic Honey
I slice my lemons & orange length wise and then about 1/16" thick making sure to remove the seeds as I slice. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix thoroughly. Store in air tight jar in refrigerator.
To make tea just add 1 heaping Tablespoon of mixture to a mug of hot water, let "steep" for a couple minutes, stir and enjoy.
Zilla loves this tea, so I always take a couple spoon fulls of the "water" and put in a small bowl or cup and let cool for her.
