I don't think cannabis is native to the Solomon Islands so I don't think they do eat it in nature I could be wrong about it being native there but idk

And like I've already said I understand it won't hurt them but it's still incredibly irritating that my brother still smokes (not just weed. Vape and cigarettes too) indoors when I've talked to him multiple times about not doing it.

dude the stuff grows just bout anywhere, and my Volkers Eclectus feed is full
of hemp seeds, kinda funny now days none in the weed but the bird food is full of em.

I would really think about damage to your family relationship about such a small thing.
remember the bird is a pet, you only get 1 family. sure the bird will be there, but it is your family who will be able to help you through the crap life can through at ya. the only other real answer is to move into your own place, then you can fully control all aspects of you and your pets lives.

I don't have a very good relationship with this brother to begin with. We have our history. But regardless, I don't think asking someone not to smoke inside would ruin a family :/
