I was in the kitchen I think when I was showing Jasper the new javastand and I happen to look into the living room and I see Tico on top of his playstand playing with one of his foot toys..wow..

Jasper's being here has been a big influence on us all. I guess Tico sees Jasper doing these things and figures it might worth a try. He's playing with toys, actually eating pellets..haven't gotten him to readily accept fresh fruits or veggies aside from grapes yet. I certainly will be more careful in the future if I decide to make them more smoothies again LOL. It is very encouraging though.

I agree it can definitely make a difference as far as them learning from each other. Rowdy also played with a foot toy yesterday and she has never done that in 12 years. I'm certain she did it because she sees Pete doing it everyday.

I've always used old, seasoned horses to teach trailer loading and riding quietly in one. If there is another horse standing there calmly throughout the trip it seems to make a big difference to the newbie.

I am excited to see if Clifford learns from Bongo. I hope that he learns to trust us more seeing how well Bongo does. I am afraid though that Bongo may learn Cliffords bad habbits as well. He is already mimicking sounds and whistles, do you think he will start to mimick Cliffords scream? I certianly hope not!

I wonder if GCC's can be influenced by 'Too's. We noticed yesterday that Sugar enjoys foot toys. Loki doesn't do a lot of playing, foot toys in particular. I'm hoping that seeing Sugar play will inspire Loki.

So far neither Pete or Merlin are imitating Rowdy's screech, but maybe they don't like it? If they like a sound, they are probably going to repeat it, particularly Merlin since she is the sound queen here.

Pete and Merlin are imitating each other though and can even do each other's voices.

I know Rowdy really likes some of Merlin's imitations, but she hasn't started doing any of them. I don't know if that is because she can't? But, I've been worried a bit I will have 2 or even 3 birds doing that horrible high pitched fire alarm. That will get very annoying when I have migraines if that happens.
