3 wonderful Friends
I'm so glad I found this forum folks. This is like a dream come true to know there are so many like me that cherish my feathered friends.
I did post a lot of pictures in the gallery of my aviaries. Please take a look and tell me what you think.
I also started a web site-- it is rough for now but I'll keep working on it.

Loooove those critters!

Hi Piper, and welcome to Parrot Forums. I LOVE your aviay. It certainly looks sturdy! What kind of feathered family members do you have - would love to see pics of them.

Hi there, welcome to the forum! I was going to vote "no"... but after seeing the pic of your VERY nice aviary, I have to vote "I wish" :D. What species are you're "3 wonderful friends"?

I have an eclectus a rose breasted cockatoo and a Quaker!!! I went on a vacation and my Ekkie started plucking...arg!!!! He's getting his dose of UV tomorrow while I mow. He loves that!! Hopefully that will remind him that I'm home for good now and hpw lucky he his! Hahaha!! Thank you for all the warm greetings!!!

I'm in the process of converting our garrage and part of our backyard in to an indoor/outdoor aviary, however it's one of those bits and pieces projects where you do a bit here and a bit there, so it's a long ways off of becoming a reality. I at least finally got the HOA to approve of the plans though so I can actually start making structural changes now when the money is there. I'd like to have it ready by next spring/summer, but that may be a pipe-dream.

That's awesome SirEdwin!! Your feathered babies are gonna have it made!! With the aviaries Dad and I make its easy to add on to them. Just a few holes and some stainless steel screws and you're all set! A free roof comes with the purchase of 3 or more panels so that's not a problem either! That's one of the things I love about them! The versatility!
The I wishers have taken the lead for sure!!! Keep on wishing and dreaming dreamers!! It'll happen for you one day!! ;-) I'm so lucky to have such an amazing intelligent father who made not only my life better but the lives of my beautiful feathered children!!! Now that I have an outstanding aviary I couldn't imagine mowing or doing my yard work without the chatter of my happy birds!!! Good luck SirEdwin!! You'll be so proud and pleased once you get their knees in the breeze!!

Hello and welcome! Love your aviary! My friend is building a second one in her back yard and I am so excited to be able to bring some of my guys over to use it.
I hope your Ekkie stops plucking soon, mine is finally getting his feathers back after his last plucking session.

So cool, your stuff looks real good! Nice to see you step out and put your $$ out too!
Thank you Flboy! Hey it's only money, I'll make more.
And check out my Aviaries if you want to get your bird's knees in the breeze. They are built to last a lifetime and then some.

I would love to have one of your aviaries, wish I didn't live so far away!

Thanks for the comment. Shipping is so costly. I recently got a quote to ship an aviary 1350 miles to Miami. The quotes ranged from $540 to $1200. The 4 by 8 aviary and skid weigh 360 pounds.
But, hey! You don't really need a stainless steel and aluminum aviary. Anything solid will do. As long as your critters are safe and get out in the air and sunshine.

Very true:) I know whatever we come up with will fall short of what you have accomplished. It makes my so happy to think of all the birds who are now enjoying sunshine and the outdoors because of your creativity and hard work on your aviaries.
