What kind of love birds these are and the seller says they are 1.5 years old.

They are pied lutino peachface lovies. Very beautiful! Are you looking to breed? If so, are they proven? Because they look so much a like, make sure they are not siblings, if you want to breed.

When i purchased them the original owner said that its a pair and through a bone he proved me that one of them is male and other is female.
i dont know whether they are siblings or not.

Find out if they are siblings. If so, do not breed to each other or you could end up with genetic heath problems and possible deformities.

Don't breed in that tank, I'm assuming it's a 10 gallon? Maybe 15? Too small for 12 Rosy Barbs, and you want to breed them? Don't. The environment doesn't sound right, either.

Yes I agree, those fishies cant breed in that tank.
