I met my first TAG!

I was in the mall yesterday and had to get Russell his pellets so I went to the back to see what birds they have now. There was a baby TAG, she was soooo cute, I've seen pictures but in person they are so beautiful. The feathers are darker and the tail is a gorgeous maroon colour. The staff saw that I was about the stick my finger in a touch her foot as she was sticking it out at me and they told me be careful she bites. I put my finger in and she grabbed it and hung upside down and played with me. She let me tickle her leg and she never bit me once! I didn't want to leave but my children were getting bored and didn't understand why I was so entralled with a bird we have at home.
Oh wanna go see her again!

Oh you have the Timneh bug now. They are adorable little play balls of feathers. When I chose a grey I had a choice of TAG or CAG. Rosie's personality was outstanding compared to the other one. I have never looked back on this decision. When they are young the beak is black but turns a bone color as they get older.

Hahaha my kids are just the same
why do you wanna see those birds when we have 2 at home already

My baby however has totally caught the bird bug
it is the 1st place he goes in the shop ( he even undoes and climbs in the aviaries if I'm not looking lol)
Anytime he sees a cage he does the sign for parrot and is totally fixated on finding and staring at the bird for hours
it's the only time he stays still lol
