How to feed pomagranit

I cute them in half and then put them one half at a time in a mixing bowl full of water and use my fingers to dig all the seeds out. The seeds sink to the bottom so I just run the whole bowl through my strainer and then put them in the bird bowls. It seems to be the cleanest way to do it, gets them deseeded fast and without staining my hands red for days. All of our birds love them, I have one more left right now and that will probably the last they get until next year. An easy way to freeze them is to wrap them up in wax paper and then put in a freezer bag, the wax paper usually helps to keep them from freezing together.

I wish Basil would eat pomegranate. I love them and always share but he won't take them out of his dish or from me. Even if he sees me eating it too. He is not a very good fruit and veggie birdie.
