How they met

We had recently moved and was given 2 budgie's .so we needed food and other supplies.
My husband and daughter were off to get what we needed.
Once home my daughter told me about this 5 month old bird she seen
Half moon conure and for next week all I heard
Even my husband said we got a situation the bird instantly fell in love with her
Few weeks later we all stopped in and once the door opened and that baby heard my daughters voice it instantly got excited and started calling her( even the owner was surprised) and said she has attached to you ,she does not act like this with any other people.
Well my daughter is now a owner and mommy to a female half moon conure she named qibli.
And she has been such a blessing to our family and so much fun and yes very sassy spoiled and very very loved
Out of all the people who visited that store and sanctuary she picked our daughter so I now am a grandma to a tiny velosarapture..lmao but so much in love

Welcome to the forums, @Jane p, I love the story of your daughter and Qibli's meeting - sounds like the stars really were in alignment there!! I hope you will post some pics, and of your budgies too, we love baby photos around here

Being chosen by a parrot is such a gift. They're so much better at it than we are. They can be quite persuasive once they make their choice. Exactly how my YNA wormed her way into my home and heart. I can say from experience there, your daughter has been blessed. And what an adorable little girl qubli is!
