So yesterday i bought some paper cups ,muffin cups and boxes.
Thanks to the great vid of oliver.
But how do i know if it is waxed.
Also would the boxes be safe?
The cups costed me 0,38 and the boxes 0,55.
Would that be to cheap for waxed?

Scrape you nail or a knife along the surface. If its waxed then it will flake off.

So it it safe ,now to think of the uses hmmmm.

Did you check the inside of the cups? Sometimes only the inside is waxed.

I now did,It just made some deep cuts but nothing flaked of.

Cute stuff!! I'm sure they will make great toys!

What you could also do to check them is to submerge one of each item in water. You will easily see if the water doesn't get absorbed (in which case it. Has wax on it) or if the colour runs.

Aren't all paper cups made to keep water in it?
