We don't officially do Thanksgiving in Australia, but I hope everyone who celebrates has a safe and relaxing time.

For us, it's counting down until Christmas!

We did Thanksgiving on Sunday. Due to incredibly severe allergies and an epipen failure this summer, I am no longer comfortable eating anywhere but my own home. My extended family is unwilling to move the big family dinner from MIL's house in the Los Angeles area to here, and it's just not safe for me to eat there. So we did TG dinner Sunday night with MrC, the boys, and one of MrC's daughters and her wife, so he would be free to go to his mother's without any guilt for leaving me behind.

I plan on going to the mall and planting myself on a bench in front of Target or Macy's or Walmart (all in the same mall) and people watching. That should be fun.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US and happy regular Thursday to everyone else I'm making a lovely homemade seitan 'roast' and all the traditional sides. The only turkey in this house is of the small green variety (and whether or not we cook him is highly dependent on his behavior::16
