Green cheek conure - Sydney (Syd) Hatched 2/2017
Syd is 3 yrs old now and he has had Harrison's High Potency Fine since soon after I rehomed him. Should he really be on the adult pellet that I have seen listed?

Harrison's recommends high potency for first 8 months of transition, then adult lifetime course as desired. They specifically recommend the former permanently for greys, macaws, and other species judgmentally.

My CAV recommended high potency for the first 6 months, then I switched to adult lifetime course.

First 4 ingredients of high potency: Sunflower, barley, soybeans, peanuts.
For adult lifetime: Corn, barley, soybeans, peanuts.

Different nutritional levels. Based on this review, might ask my vet for clarification and consider blending high potency.
