I need to connect with people that own parrots and love them like we do. We also have two parakeets, three rescue dogs and a cat. Anyway, our parrots are both 15 years old. One is a girl Panama Amazon and one is a boy Gofins Cockatoo. Both are tame and live outside of their cage in our laundry room during the day and out with us in the family room in the evening. Our Amazon has become more aggressive towards me lately. Twice now she has flown to my shoulder and bitten my neck. This has never happened. Both birds are tame, and happy with either me or my husband. So I'm needing some advice, and also want to learn from others with parrots who have much more experience that we do.
Welcome to the forum. I personally have not had any experience with the problem that you are having. Hopefully some else has more insight on it. Never fear there are few problems that crop up on here that someone hasn't had experience with and can give you good advice on.
