I have just registered to be part of Parrot Forum. I look forward to the education I shall receive with this contact. I do have a question and I'm not quite sure where to post it in this forum. What material are folks using for the bottom of their parrot's cage? I have and African Grey and a Goffin Cockatoo. Thank you so much for accepting me into this forum.

WELCOME :)!!!!!

Never any sort of bedding or corn-cob bits (bad news).
Never those doggy pee pads (worse news)

I use plain white paper towels, non-glossy butcher or poster paper (the kind in rolls), have used printer paper when I was out of towels...black and white newspaper is fine (not colored and not magazine print ).

Thanks for your information. I will give a butcher paper a try.

If it has a coating of any sort, you just don't want them to be able to get to it, and mine is a master at prying things up from under the grate lol...she uses sticks to get to them.
