hi im Jamie and i am an owner of two female Budgies who share a cage, which will be getting an upgrade sometime soon. they are quite friendly but not completely tamed yet, i can touch, pat and hand feed them but they dont trust me enough to just hangout near me without flying away yet.
i am fairly new to birds, i did have a few growing up but i was never really into them and my mom was the one taking care of them. so i am still trying to learn and figure things out but its been hard trying to find forums for birds that are active and friendly. i dont know anyone who own birds either.
ive had them for a year now, so not very long and both are fairly young although im not sure of their age. they are currently in Vision's Medium cage which is slightly too small for the both of them so i am getting a bigger flight cage, sometime within the next few months. both get along great and are very lively.
i love having the two of them even though i would be able to bond with them better if i only had one. both are extremely happy and are always together, so they have a pretty strong bond with one another.
