2 cockatiels~ Sophie and kelly~
Hi, im sammie or tessa, i have in my house 2 cockatiels:grey::grey: and a parakeet:greenyellow:. both cockatiels are housed in the living room,as it the keet,

the cockatiels each have their own cage, a prevue flight cage, its 53 inches up and 31 inches long across by 20 inches wide, :D and they are spoiled .

the keet is in a smaller cage, but its really big for her! shes spoiled too!

Our tiels are Sophie is about 9 months old and shes a semi peraled and she is my moms bird, and shes a brat, she bites quite a bit,so any advice on that is helpful.. (of course she didnt bite as much untill a few days ago, when we brought my tiel home) sophie has a small vocab of whistles, she can scream (yes scream) my name "SAMANTHA!" and she says pretty girl.pretty girl girl girl XD and sophies a pretty girl, yea, hey! as well as repeting the microwave/oven beeps, shes learning soft kitty, and can sing some of jingle bells and the wedding march (we didnt even teach her that so were confused)

My tiel is Kelly. shes just s normal gray. shes about 2 -3 months old we guess :grey: < she actually kind of looks like that. shes sweet, but still asks for bieng fed when i have her out she will cry and bob her head at me,even though she has been weened a week they said. i am not sure if i should have her on an out of cage time scheduale or if i should do it at random times, incase im not home for a day or something,so she wont expect to be out then and scream..

Lala:greenyellow: is our keet. shes 3 or 4 month old,and we had got her (yes i know) at petco. we couldnt help it.she was so sweet and came right up to us on her side of the cage, and putting our hand on the glass didnt scare her,so we had to bring her home and she sings beautifly.

We have had birds for years, fostered a love bird, and have had many fostered keets and lots of our own (recently had to rehome due to un planned keets mateing, and hatching 4 healthy babies, then laying 2 new eggs,we werent ready so when they were old enough we had to rehome them,we had had them 3 years)

we are new to tiels,we got sophie in november at 3 months of age,and just..3 day ago got kelly,so help on tiels is always welcomed!

OH! also, the keets are on a seed diet, and i was looking for advice on switching to pellets,as well as acceptable fruits/veggies to try and get kelly to eat

Welcome to the forum, pics please! And to switch to pellets only offer seeds for one hour in the morning and one hour at night then in between only offer the pellets in the same dish you use for the seeds so they know where to look for food.

I forgot to add, when you know they are eating pellets slowly reduse the amount of time you offer seed until they are completely on pellets.
