Hi! I’m Finn, and I have five birds. Technically two are my mom’s and we “share” one, but I take care of them lol.
Mochi, my White Fronted Amazon, is a moodswinger. He’s sweet sometimes, but only to me. He loves to bite toes and yell when he’s alone for a few seconds, but will do anything for a peanut! I admit he was a bit of an impulse buy (the guy I bought him from was a great salesman) but he has become a wonderful member of the family and is my little dinosaur, even though he can be frustrating at times XD
Florence, my Grey Cockatiel, as a skittish angel. She loves to cuddle and sing, and create dust by preening. She is still an adolescent and her wings haven’t grown out yet (the olce that raises them clips their wings) so I’m excited to see what she’ll be like when theyre grown out!
Peaches, our peach faced lovebird, is so cute and tiny! Since she hit maturity and ended up accidentally “mating” with out conure, she can be a bit territorial of her cage, but when she’s out she loves to preen her mate and chiro in her ear. Her favorite toy is a string of bells, which she likes to bang around. She also loves being pettinf behind her head, and in fact her and Sage are the only ones who like being petted.
Sage, my mom’s Pineapple Conure, is skittish, yet calm. Her and Peaches preen each other, although she can be lazy and not hold up her end, leaving Peaches to preen her all day! Her favorite toy is a chain of plastic teacups, which she hangs off of and bangs around, especially when it’s time to go to bed. She’ll bang her cups around and “scream” (she’s still quiet lol) for a minute after she gets covered up. The first time I took her cups oit of her cage was the loudest she’s ever been; it was simultaneously hilarious and heartbreaking.
Paisley, my mom’s Violet Indian Ringneck, is ferocious! She unfortunately didn’t get too much attention besides me talking to her and giving treats through the bars at first because of how aggressive she is, which didn’t help, but I’m working with her now and I hope to get her at least somewhat tame! Her favorite toy is just a olastic chain that used to have bells and such attatched. I’ve tried to give her an identical one, but she was not having it and mostly sticks to the old one. She loves nutriberries and is quite calm if u leave her alone, although she does try to climb into the other’s cages sometimes!!
I don’t know what else to say XD
