Hello, I'm new to the forum and have a question right up front. I have a 18 day old cockatiel baby that I have been hand feeding since he was 10 days. I went to buy a breeding pair that had just finished a clutch and when the previous owner went to pull the nest box he found this tiny little guy. Of course the parents rejected him during the move so here I am. Anyway I think this little guy is stunted. he is only 24 grams and only has a few pin feathers on his wings and a tiny amount on his crest and tail. Do you have any suggestions for me. Im really trying to keep him going but he just won't eat very much at a time. Thanks for any advise.

I don't have any experience with baby birds so unfortunately cannot help, but welcome to the forum. It might be a good idea to post in the health subforum, you might draw the attention of somebody with experience to offer some advice.
