So Charlie is doing this more and more with me. There is no actual food or anything coming out though. hahaha. Ive read somewhere here that it is suggested to prevent/stop this when it happens? Why? Or what should I do, leave him? In the mean time I just let him be but try to keep him busy so he dont do it again.

That's a sign that Charlie likes you, parrot regurgitate for each other meaning love. But don't reward Charlie or anything like that, if you do, it will lead to mating behavior, and the parrot is likely to become aggressive. I heard that if the parrot is around you, and it starts the regurgutate for you, leave the room. But it will most often stop if you ignore the behavior.

Hope this helped :)

It's because Charlie loves you!! Please don't tell him off or discipline him because he won't understand. When jasmine does this I say thank you and distract her with a treat or foot toy - she's easily distracted ;)

its because he loves you very much!! dont be mean or anything just ignore it and it shouldnt be a problem thats what I do with my lovebird.

Thanks guys. I know that it means he loves me. But I forgot what I read and wanted to know if I should steer him away from it or not. I do not punish him for it, in NO way. He is my baby. Gets everything he wants. But it seems I have been handling correctly then. I let him be while he's doing it then try to distract him by playing with him. I think he's too attached to me though. He gets very jealous with the other animals. Not Benny the lovebird though that's his bestie. The cockatiel he doesn't seem to care for but if the cockatiel gets in his way around me, then Charlie will get jealous.
