I put Safira's harness on her for the first time. I think its going to take some practice!

I know i need to tighten it, but do I have it on right? I guess I should have watched the instructional video.

??? I couldnt say :) but im so jealous :)

I don't know... It looks like the bird might not fly straight...

I would never put anything on a bird or other animal, without reading the instructions... lol

Her wings are clipped, its realy just a little added securit if I take her outside or somewhere.
I'm pretty sure is right, but I'm gonna look at the manual just to be sure. I wished the leash detached.

Yeah you do, it just needs to be tighter :p

I love the bright pink, screams "I'M A MUMMYS PRINCESS!"

Haha, I know! I didn't even specify a color, I'm glad it came with pink, it stands out more.

I can't wait till we get a little warmer weather, I'm so taking her to Tractor Supply and home depot with me.

I'm wondering how you even got it on. MAC fights the harness "tooth and nail".

I'd love to get him in a harness so we could venture outside without a travel cage.

I got Safira when she was 4 months old, she's 8 months now, but I make sure to fuss with her toes and wings whenever I can. She is still very immature so its easier, I think she was weaned a little too early. she acts like I'm going to handfeed her.
She hasn't tried to scream or make a lot of noise yet either.

MAC thinks it's a toy for him to try to grab as we work with him.

He just turned 2 and sometimes acts like a typical 2 year old.

I still have high hopes though!!:D

The longer loop should be behind the bird and the shorter one in front. Its on but the wrong way. That is why the harness is laying on the tops of her legs.

The harness is sort of confusing isn't it, even the instructions aren't that clear lol! But yes its on right !

The long loop must be behind the birds head not in front.

I use a harness regularly to fly Tangoso I do know what I am talking about

It looks to me like the loop is behind the birds head, its just not tight enough. I use a harness as well.

The picture I see shows the long strip loop in front which is wrong. See my last post for pictures of how to fit the harness.

The harness isn't too big, it isn't too loose, ITS TOO PINK!!!

I have a red aviator for my GW. I started her on it when she was still being weaned. No problem now, other than she keeps biting the plastic buckle. I think the secret is to put it on gently, then as soon as its on take him/her someplace new and exciting--like the backyard. Get the association between harness and exciting location in his/her mind.

I didn't order the color, it came that way! It sure does stand out in front of her blue and yellow.
