Happy Endings

Does anyone watch the sitcom Happy Endings? I do, and I just watched Sunday's episode tonight (I Tivo'd it). Anyway one of the characters on the show owns a Greenwing Macaw. He's been seen in several past episodes. Well on Sundays show he dies, I won't go into the details. When the show ended and they ran the credits it turns out that the Macaw actually played himself (unfortunately I forgot his name). But it turns out he actually died in real life show they added a little in memory graphic about him He was born in 1928 and passed away in 2012 at he age of 84. I thought that was pretty amazing. When I've seen him on the show I had no idea he was that old. He was a beautiful Greenwing and looked like he could have 5 years old or even younger. I'm going to miss him ,I just wish I could remember his name. Did anyone else see the show?

Yeah, I have never watched the show before & was watching something on just before that show. So when they started it & I saw a GW I had to watch it, even tho personally I found the show itself not so much my type of show. (OK, I'm old & it just isn't my 'cup of tea') I was really enjoying watching Tyler til they killed him off, but I did finish watching & saw the ending memorial. I saw the date of birth & at first I thought it to be a gag, but knowing how old they can be, I figured it was authentic.

Thanks golerjones for the link. I will go read up on Tyler. I love GWs & I was wondering if indeed he did die. Now I know.
