Getting there clothes on
Popeye the youngest. He is a boy and is having arguments with his father. I think he has started going through puberty. I had been separating Popeye and his father when they fight but lately I have been letting Popeye out of the cage to fly around It helps him burn off some of that excess energy he has.
Mango is the clown. She is always hanging upside down from perches and toys. Her favorite landing place is on top of someone (anyone’s) head. She is a real pain to put back in the cage when flying time is over.
Last but not least is Angel. She is of course beautiful. She is so bright it’s difficult to take a picture that does her justice. If I had to describe her personality I would say she is a home body. When she is let out of the cage she climbs around the other cages but does not range fare from her home cage. She does not fly much unless startled but she is a good flyer.
Raising the birds from the egg to young adult has been a wonderful experience. It was worth the work that went into it.
I can’t wait to see what changes are in store for my Three Amigos in Year 2
