When i started off rescueing sugargliders,i knew one day they would pass on. But today i had to put down my last original glider. He was born in my care to a twin.he survived the death of his parents and son. And survived getting three teeth pulled.i cant say he started off being my favorite but he sure did grow on me. And he would even come when i called his name. His name was lucius...luci for short and he was 11years old and loved mealworms and orange gatorade and standing on his eagle beaniebaby.. Fly free.

Maria, I'm so sorry you had to say goodby to your darling little Luci. It sounds like he had a great life with you and developed a strong bond. You're in my thoughts.

Rest In Peace, Lucius. You will be missed.

Maria, I'm so sorry to hear about Luci :(. It's hard losing any companion after that long. He was so cute.

So sorry for your loss.

My daughter used to always have a bunch of these little ones, she was always talking about them. As a child I used to always have a flying squirrel or two as a pet.

I'm so sorry for your loss:( Luci was such a beautiful boy.

Farewell, Luci - fly free little one. You were loved, and will not be forgotten

Thank you for all the kind words...its nice to know people still care about the little ones out there. I still have seven, but none of them were as old as him.
