For the past couple of weeks, we have heard Cal shouting from upstairs when it's too cold to be in the shop. It's puzzled us as with the tv on etc, she normally loves it!

This morning I went to the loo before bringing her down with us.

I was in the bathroom and all of a sudden she shouted. I listened again (the tv was off) and all I could hear was one of the neighbours next door imitating her back!!!! GRRROOOOAN!

Now, they are nice people and we DO talk to eachothers dogs through the walls (even though they are far from thin!!!!, useful note to anyone who wants a sun conure ;)). They have 3 and it can sound like a dog pound at times. We have 2, one who occasionally barks, so when either household is empty, we soothe eachothers dogs if that makes sense???

So, I can see why they are doing this, but they are completely ruining my "no shout!"

This will have to be approached light heartedly!

Thanks for listening to my whinge ahha!

Oh my the trials and tribulations of bird guardianship. Things happen we do not even anticipate. I know you can handle this.

Funnily enough Di, the girly in question came into the shop not 10mins ago! :D

I explained we had taught her "no shout" and made light that on the days Cal isn't in the shop, she will be driving her mad trying to "talk" through the wall! ;)

I said "we barely hear it down here, it's your ear drums haha!" (her bedroom is directly beside our living room ;).

She said: Ooooh I thought the birdy might like it! I'm sorry, I won't do it again!

I said: No problem at all, just thought I'd save your eardrums!!!

She then went into raptures because she's not seen Cal for weeks (only spoken to apparently lol) and was delighted with her feather change since then!

It appears that it is over and I can stop bolting upstairs to look accusingly at the television or the cat or the rabbit and peering around to see if anything is "different" LOL.

I think it went about as good as it could!!!

You handle the situation well Von, wish more people thought things through before confronting others with a "problem"
At least no swear words were taught LoL, then there would be big problems.
