@Birdman - Thanks Mark, whew, looks like a good sign then! My older boy Robin who has never been socialized with a birdie friend when young, is extremely territorial over his cage (to other birds) so I can see he has claimed it as HIS exclusive territory. When I had other birds as friends in the past, I never let them into each other's cages, so this is really a first for me. What is your take on the size difference concern (next paragraph below)?
@Kiwibird - Thanks April. That's good to hear about Lucy and Barney's dynamic. 40 years bonded wow, like an old married couple lol. My biggest concern with Raven and Griffin was the size difference, but like you say, they should know how to not to injure their perceived mate or friend. I'm hoping anyway, that Raven instinctively "knows" how much smaller and more delicate Griffin is when they squabble. I'm keeping a good eye out right now, but hopefully they will be like Lucy and Barney one day
