Have you owned parrots before?
I'm thinking the feathers are just from rubbing against the cage bars maybe but if anyone else has any ideas?
Maybe try feeding some fruits and veggies as well. And possibly not so much seed, especially sunflower its very fattening. Also try giving some more toys or something to keep her entertained when you can't have her out. If possible have her out for longer. I have my ekkie out with me whenever I'm around, which is alot, probably a good six to eight hours a day, unless the dog is inside, which isn't too often. I also take her outside on her harness, but be super careful if your going to try this. Especially if your in a country where birds may be prey for much bigger birds. Which isn't a problem where I am. I honestly just think she is bored. My mums Alex does this when she wants to come out of her came when mum gets home from work at night.
