2 Lineolated Parakeets Amy and Rory (yes, they live in a blue cage), 1 Sun Conure Sunny, 1 Cockatiel Chucky
Hi!

I'm Heather from Omaha, NE.

I currently have 2 lineolated parakeets Amy and Rory, they live in a big blue box that is unfortunately not bigger on the inside. (10 points to anyone who gets that.)

Next weekend I will be adopting my FIL's Sun Conure and Cockatiel so I am trying to learn as much about these birds as I can before then. You can see my posts in the Behaviour forum.

My zoo also consists of two mixed breed dogs Spike and Bellamy, two rabbits Oliver, a domestic mix and Twist, an English Angora, two bearded dragons, three leopard geckos, and a betta named George. The five lizards are sort of stuck up and won't tell me their names.

I'm married, no kids, my animals are my babies.

Professionally I am an artist, I paint, make jewelry, and teach classes. However my focus is hand dyed yarn and spinning fiber. I sell retail via my website and wholesale to yarn shops as well as traveling to various fiber shows to sell my work.

I'm not sure what else you would like to know about me, I'm an open book so if there is anything just ask.

Hi Heather and welcome!
So glad you joined us and I would love to see pictures of your furry, scaly and feathered friends:)

Hi Heather! Absolutely LOVE the names. Does their cage actually look like the TARDIS? If so I would love to see pictures of it. And of course all of your kids. I myself have a little zoo family: a Sun (Ducati), two beardies one male (Lrrr Ruler of Planet Omicron Persei 8, Lrrr for short) and one female (Ed Bighead, long story why she had a male name), two dogs a female Rottie (Pasha) and a female American Eskimo/Puggle mix (Tuzzi), and last but not least a cat (Hooch). Welcome to the forum! Everybody here is super helpful.

Welcome Heather! I also have linnies. I love angora rabbits. Do you use his hair? I think that's really cool.

Sorry, the cage doesn't actually look like the Tardis. It is just a blue enameled flight cage. I liked the color and I was trying to warm my dh up to the idea of having birds since he doesn't really care for them and he is a huge doctor who fan.

I do use my angora's fiber. However, I clipped her short at the beginning of the month because I was going to be gone a lot in June and didn't want to have her become one huge mat which she does if she doesn't get groomed every other day so she isn't as fuzzy as she normally is. She's a sweetheart though. I don't have any pictures of me with my birds so I will put one of me and her up as my avatar for the time being. :)
