Good macaw cages

What size cage would you recommend? I heard 4'x3' is good, is that true? I found a nice one here:Bird Cages & Aviaries: Silverado Dometop Bird Cage at Drs. Foster & Smith
what do you think? is this a good size for a macaw? Like a B&G or Catalina? Also has any one ever built a pvc play stand for their macaw? How thick of pipe did you use?

Yes, the cage you linked to would work for a big mac. I personally would recommend going smaller than 4' X 3', as they are quite active birds (well...both of mine are).

Have a look at the DIY section, please. Our member "Blancaej" has made MANY gorgeous PVC based stands for her macaws.
