Baby is doing so good in training he love for me to give him head scratches and to scratch his beak. He has almost completely stopped biting hard and always wants to be out on my finger. I am amazed at how much progress I have made and it's only been a week. As I'm typing she is sitting on her perch in the sun scratching herself around her head and neck with her own foot !

Oh my! What a good looking green cheek! ;) I am sooo glad youre making progress! My gcc loves a good beak scratching also. Sounds like you are laying the groundwork to a wonderful friendship!

EDIT: May i ask what is working for you to get him to stop biting? Just curious- I can never have too much training knowledge. haha

When he bites I just give him a little puff of air in the face and he stops biting me. It seems to work pretty good.

Awesome job! I feel a bit spoiled as mine was completely tame and quick to trust since the day he came home.
Keep working with him! I can't wait to hear your next updates.
Great picture!
(And it's good to know I'm not the only one who uses the Percher on a daily basis!)

Oh okay that's how I trained Punkin to not bite too hard as well so I'm glad to know it's working for you too, I know all birds learn differently. And he has started baking my lips too and I can trust him not to bite. They seem to bond really quickly once you earn their trust so keep up the good work!
