GCC Newbie mom

Hello, thank you for letting me join. I just got my first GCC named Blake. He is 8 months old and a pure joy. I got him last Saturday. He has spent the last week with me in my office out of cage for 8 hours then back to the family room for the rest of the evening. I do not force him to do anything so now he is constantly on me and falls asleep snuggled in my hand. He loves scratches.

hey and welcome!!! Do you mind if I post a ton of new bird owner stuff? I have found that lots of people don't know about everything they need (even after researching) so I feel compelled to post, but I don't want to seem like a jerk!
