- Two cockatiels: Sharlett (Cinnamon Pied) and Data (White-Faced Pied)
I'm letting the birdies have free range of our family room today. (With supervision) I'm leaving their cages open so they can get out if they want to.
Data was puffed up a bit of yesterday and today but he's acting normally otherwise. (He doesn't do it all the time.) Didn't hear him talk but I think that's to be expected. He is still vocalizing and wanting out for playtime which is good. He seems to want to cuddle more than usual but he was really hungry and I think his tail feathers are growing back and it was about nap time so I think the puffing up was due to that.
He also picks up on my worrying about him which also makes him skittish and so I think I'm making a problem where there is none.
It is hard not to worry when I lost my two parakeets when they were still babies.
I love these birdies. I hope they enjoy free-range!
