few questions

found a breeder just in Washington about a 6 hour round trip from my aunts they have Meyers and Brownheads going for about $700 but that includes the following:
A contract assuring your bird's health and fitness for sale
Complimentary DNA sex testing
One year limited warranty
Written care and instructions
List of Nurturing Guidance and Behavior Techniques
24-hour emergency phone number
Free behavioral consultations for as long as you own the bird
even if its a tiny bit more then other of the same species it seems you do get alot for you funds. what do you think?

It's pretty high, but that wouldn't stop me if I wanted the bird and I liked the breeder.

Yes. It does sound like they offer a lot. If you have a good feel for the breeder, I'd say GO FOR IT.
Which species do you think you'd prefer? The Meyer's or Brown Headed are more or less the same in personality. More just personality differences of each individual bird. It comes done to the "look that you like better. They're both beautiful, and I'd highly recommend one. I think it's a good choice for you and your family IMHO. I can't wait to hear further...

found another breeder that is willing to ship, will come to a total of $610 instead and how quickly they responded just emailed a few hours ago and they responded within an hour. Would be allot less driving for me 2 hours (4 round trip) to an airport that flights are NOT frequently canceled. better then about 16ish hour total trip. So puting gas into the equation it seems I might go with this other breeder whoms willing to sex the bird for $10 more thus the $610 not $600. I would love to thank those whom have been keeping an eye on this forum and constantly helping will send thanks befor i log and go to work

Great! That sounds good. No problem, it was fun following your thread. What species are you going to get?

Wife secretly loved the blue headed Pionus and the Meyers Parrot, we live in a wet moldy climate so Blue Headed might not be a good idea. So Meyers it is. the breeder I am looking at seems to have great reviews Little Creek Menagerie is off in North Caronlina will have to have it shipped in but hey seems for the best. So far got a great feeling from him asked for references gave 3 right away and sent them emails.

Yay!! :) I've corresponded with Ken from Little Creek before. His prices are pretty good from what I saw on his website. He told me he got a bird once from Raven's breeder. Seems like a good guy. Alpacas and Great Pyrenees too ;)

Meyer's are so beautiful. Does he have babies hand feeding right now, or are you on a list for upcoming eggs?

Probably going to go on a list have to wait till finances balance out Goverment wanted some more money so yeah. Probably around April.

I hear you about that ;)
I just looked at the website and didn't see Meyers yet. They should be laying soon. Keep us posted!

Will do, again thank you RavensGryf, you have been beyond helpful
