Fear of Egg bound budgie: no vet access because of quarantine

Yes, she is doing very well! The vet suggested I leave her in her cage for a week or so, she’s been eager to get around the house again. The vet confirmed she had only laid one egg, the one before the vet visit, and was given an X-ray just in case and was treated for shock. She’s been recovering very well, this whole experience has been a remainder of how tough these little birds are. I’m so thankful everything went smoothly, and am definitely going to keep an eye on both their behaviors and discourage any egg laying in the future.

Phew! Yay! It is odd that she only had one egg in there, but who knows...If they did an X-ray, I would think they would definitely know.
