These are mushy lap birds... and any bonded mush mac is going to be priceless to who ever is lucky enough to experience that.

Just curious, I have a couple of questions for anyone....understanding that there is no "set" rule for these, just generalizations.
Has anyone have experience with a mimi mac getting mushy like a big mac?
With a lot of interaction and routine training, how long does it take before one can expect to see this behavior (I know this is really a bad question, but I'd still like to hear experiences other have had, especially with adopted macs or mini macs)
I will have been adopted by Loki for 1 year on June 1st. We have came a long way since then. He doesn't seem to be afraid of me at all and doesn't shy away from me or my fingers at all. He has always stepped up for me, but now he seeks me out for head scratches. He does not however, lay on his back or get real mushy like some of the macs I have seen.
I have two goals for my guy....to get to that mushy state and to be able to put a harness on him and do some flying.

My little Harvey is ultra-mushy! He loves to cuddle against my beard, or my ear, and he loves diving into my wife's hair and cuddling.
He was ultra-cuddly from day one, also! We gave him a little time to get acclimatized to the new cage, and then opened it for some reason, and he was on the shoulder doing his cute little dinosaur croak. Been a snugglebug ever since haha
