And yeah, don't really think Fargo would enjoy the car trip. On school camp, I once went the ACT, it was a 11 hours drive, and was so boring!

Someone on my facebook commented on a video on Fargo and said 'omg i want one'
and this REALLY annoyed me, because people think, oh cool, i will get this bird and he will roll over... they dont realise the time and patience i put into Fargo!
Not every bird will enjoy doing tricks like Fargo does, and people think its bad, but i dont have a life, Fargo is my life, every second i am with him haha

Just keep researching them, and prove your mum that you are serious, and you might get one someday!!

Yeah, that annoys me too! Maybe you should write a book about Fargo, how he is adorable and cute, and all the effect you put in training him tricks. And I'll be the first one to buy it! Hahaha

Hopefully mum will let me one day....

The bus trip was sooooooo boring! We only had a half an hour rest to get some fresh air in that 11 hour! :/ And think about driving to Queensland! That's like x4 the length from Melbourne to ACT!

I wonder what would Fargo look like after a 11 hour drive!?

It's so annoying when people do that! When I take Rosie out and about people often say they want a bird after seeing her, especially if she dances for them. I then over dramatize all the bad stuff, I need these people to know birds aren't just fun and games.

Copperarabian thats what i do to people who i think shouldnt have one, ohhhh well he is sooo messy, and soo loud then there are a few people who i think would be able to care for one, so i try and give them advice and let them know that its not just a day of training and they can do tricks and be perfect little birdies even though thats what it looks like in so many videos and pictures !!

I'm the same, but no matter if they seem like they are good or not I still will mention bad things. And I always recommend the local parrot shelter and their classes

People do love Rosie, I try to be descreet with her though. Often I'll be having a conversation with someone and suddenly they realize I'm holding her, it's very funny. I love when I run into Australian people, one exclaimed "how did that thing get here!" Lol!

So far Fargo is just a perfect bird, but i know that will change when he gets older and hormonal but in the 6 months i have had him he is soo quiet and just very clever, but i am not sure if thats because i spend every moment with him so we are so close

Fargo is such a cutie! He reminds me so much of Zaf who does the very same stretch-out thing on the backrest of the couch (or on a pillow or a cushion) while I scratch/pet him, or sometimes just to take a nap like that undisturbed

Depends on the stranger She tolerates pretty much everyone, even lets most people pet her. But there's a certain type of man(I'm not sure what she takes a liking to, they all seem different to me)that when she sees them she gets so excited - she purrs and puffs out her face feathers for them to pet her, she is suddenly perfect at responding to behavior cues, even steps up on them and will dance with her tail fanned out and her crest up.
