Is fargo very active? My greenwing dosen't seem very active thus far. I expected her to be all over the place and get into everything but she usually just sits and plays wherever I put her. I was wondering if your blue and gold is different (my macaw is 9 years old, I don't know how old fargo is).

fargo was 8 months yesterday.. hes not as active as i expected him to be,,, but he definitely doesnt just sit there but he is very unfit,, if he goes for a few laps of flying he lands next to me all puffed haha
he is good in his cage, will play with his toys and eat... when he comes out he will play on his gym, fly and sit on my bed (its a tall one), sit on the shelf, sit on the pvc gym, boing, or sit on his cage or my arm so he has alot of places to go, so he just flies to another when he gets bored haha.. hes starting to jump on my shoulder alot, so trying to teach him not to at the moment.. and he loves playing with foot toys!

he hasnt gotten into toooo much trouble yet, i used to have lots of penguin posters on my wall,, but of course he started ripping them, so they are in high places he cant get to but he isnt destructive with anything else

your macaw just may be more mellow and mature ? fargo is just a baby so is very interested in everything..
how long have you had your macaw for ?

I've only had my macaw for two weeks so that may have something to do with it. I think she might be too fearful to explore anywhere. I'm hoping one day she'll be able to fly like Fargo. She was never allowed to fledge.

ohh ok, then don't worry, she is probably still adjusting and because she is older it may take longer ! Fargo didn't do much for the first week are her wings clipped?
