Eye irritation from molting?

Hi - I am new here.

I have two lovebirds housed separately because my vet thinks one of them is a carrier for PBFD.

My blue lovebird lost the black on her beak a couple months ago so I guess she is about 5 months old? She has recently started to molt and there is some peach coming in on her forehead.

My question is - since she is housed separately and does not have help grooming the pinfeathers off her head/face, could she be causing irritation to her eyes by scratching? Her eye rings are slightly red and swollen. But not all the way around, just in a couple of spots.

Take it to the vet
I remember my lovebird had the same problem he kept on scratching his eyes I took it to the vet the doctor told me that he had an eye inflection he prescribed me some powered formula and a mites spray bottle. But it was took late he passed away RIP my lovie
