Hello, I am new to this site....I have adopted 2 Eclectus: 1 Male age 2 named Odie, and 1 Female age 4-5 named Lucy. We adopted Lucy about 10 months ago and she ate sunflower seeds and whatever the other owners ate. I put her on Zoopreem fruit pellets and was later informed that colored pellets are not good for them, so I have tried to get her to eat the brown pellets, mixing the colored, regular, and sunflower seeds together and it is not going well, she only seems to want the seeds. We enjoyed her so much that we found Odie about 4 months ago and adopted him, he seems to eat anything and everythig we offer him. I am starting to worry about Lucy because she is spending alot of time on the bottom of her cage and making a loud screem. I am not sure if it is because she is trying to get Odie's attention or if there is something wrong with her diet? I am unsure how Females act when they are of breeding age. I would appreciate any advice anyone would have for me. I am trying to find a Vet that knows alot about birds so I can take her to get checked out.
