Dusty and Angel. A strange bonding

So my mom didn't believe that Dusty and my German Shepherd Angel got along until she walked into my room last week and saw Dusty hanging on Angels Bandanna. The two of them get along so well. Angel will walk around the house with Dusty chilling out on her back. Neither seem to mind each others company. In fact Angel will lay beside Dusty's cage when he is in it. Sometime's I know she is looking for a handout from Dusty. (Dusty will periodically throw food to her)

That's sweet. I love when pets - especially different species - get along so well.

Our giant lab (he's 120 lbs) really wants to play with the birds. He's never snapped at them, but always gets his nose as close to those sharp beaks as he dares.

We have 2 other dogs who are basically indifferent to the birds, with the exception of hanging out under the play perches and messing up the newspaper at the bottom of Jade's cage....'cuz sometimes you get a pellet.

Angel will sometimes put her noise to close to Dusty and he will go to bite her but he never bites her hard. Its more of a warning bite.

Neat story, and the picture is precious. They look so different from each other; yet get along like family!

Maybe there are a few humans that can learn a thing or two.

That is so cool...... Such a big dog, with a tiny winy bird, getting along wow.

For a minute I thought they were going to fight, a little bit if bickering
AND then they made up.
I love the way they both just stared at the video camera, towards the end.
