Found a rare parrot while walking in the woods. The bird decided one of the researchers was a female wearing green:

Now I know why parrots are in trouble. The first thing that went through my head was "I WANT ONE OF THOSE!!!"

What an oddball parrot! Hilarious that he wasn't the slightest bit afraid of the human intruders. He went right past the step up straight to the "bonding"

Sirocco, the bird in question is New Zealand's Kokapo conservation embassador, 13 years ago he contracted a resperatory infection and had to be hand reared and became human imprinted, he prefers human company over that of his own species, rarely interacting at all with other Kakapo's
