Domnijoe - The Art Studio and Bird Herder's Residence

OMG OMG OMG - Vortex turned one yesterday, and I FORGOT! I don't even have treats to give her.... well, except her usual veggies, so she got an extra helping of that :D . The boys turn 24 nd 25 come July 1st. Cool beans :D !

Update on Coco: Wow... even the breeder is having issues contacting Coco's owner. They/He must be busy! The breeder contacted them twice and I've emailed them three times. Fingers crossed things turn out okay :)

I know the breeder is legit... he's selling babies (Rose front 'toos, congo greys, and loooots of conures) right now with his breeding operation's name beside the babies. And he's got over 20 reviews and a good selection of good and bad said about him. Mostly good. Plus he's been around a while. Most scams have 1-2 new friends and have just created their account. And they want money now now now. My spidey sense says he's legit, but not to be so relaxed because next time I might not be so lucky.

YAAY! Got pix of Coco! So stoked!! The breeder is sooo helpful!

Im glad youre rescuing Coco. That looks like a tiny cage only 12 inches tall he's been living in with food bowls on the bottom and perches a couple inches from the bottom. I hope they let him out to play a lot. The cage you got for him is a palace by comparison. That piece of loose twine to the right makes me nervous as a potential noose!

Thank you! Even if my current cage is too small, I can always save up for a bigger one at a later date :D. And yeah... that twine makes me nervous now that you mention it...

Now that I look at it closer the twine is open at the bottom so he can't hang himself but why is it there? Coco probably plays with it (cheap bird toy?) but you should tell them to removed. He could ingest the fibers as he "grooms" it.

Congrats! When is Coco arriving? Post pics!
Coco comes home sometime during the week of April 7th-11th. And no worries.. I'll have a TON of pictures :D. LOL!

Like Xmas, BD, and surprise presents squeezed together. So enjoy the anticipation.

LOL.. for sure! The anticipation is driving me crazy, though!
Found this. Use it to help plan, re-plan the environment, your plans etc. This is good because it breaks down into steps things to do/consider with a new grey. From cage placement to socializing with strangers. I new I was going to be traveling with my CAG. I followed similar articles so there's minimal stress with strangers (no touching allowed) and traveling.

THANK YOU! This is exactly what I need! **Bounces with glee, LOL**

Excellent. Watch the bouncing. You don't want to put holes in the ceiling!
