Do you have dreams / nightmares about your bird(s)?

Its so weird reading your post because I once had a dream that I was living in some big garden apartment type complex full of parrot owners and Loco flew outand joined a flock of sun conures, and he didnt have a band and I couldnt find him. Very strange.
Also today I was very lightly asleep I guess in the morning and in the dream I heard him flying over me.. which was caused because he was actually flying over me. I woke up right as he was landing. I leave a portion of his cage uncovered in case he wakes up before me so he can fly out and go to his boing. I guess I was in that half asleep state where if you hear something it seems dreamy.

Oh, yeah!

My recurrent nightmare about how the Rbird somehow got lost in a flock of other Patagonians! I hate that one.

Wake up, Loko!

Yeah, I've had nightmares of my house catching fire and me not being able to get all the animals out. I always think I will go for Phoebe first because the smoke is more of an immediate threat to her.

I haven't had any dreams about Lincoln yet but I have a history of having what I call anxiety dreams concerning my animals and school and other such subjects

I once had a dream that I randomly vanished for a few years and when I came back I had no memory of anything of what had happened but my family had been taking care of my rats but they were literally the size of and as round as bowling balls and I was so confused. How would you even get a rat THAT fat

I've only had one dream about Salty and it was horrible. Don;t recall the details now, but Geri would tell you I woke and was inconsolable, in every deepest meaning of the word. Have never had a repeat thank God, but I make sure to give Salty a kissy before he goes to bed, every night.

As I said when I started this thread...

Quote - "I have a standard nightmare about the Rbird. Two, actually.
First... somehow he gets lost in a huge flock of Patagonians, and I can't tell which one is mine. Sometimes there's a happy ending and he flies to me or talks or sings. Sometimes I wake up in a terrible panic.
Second... somehow I have forgotten about him or lost him and when I find him he is so weak from hunger and thirst that he seems ready to die. I anxiously try to feed him. That's where that one usually wakes me up.
Hey, maybe now that I've told about these bad dreams, they'll go away."

They didn't. Still have both regularly.

Grrrrr.
