I went out to run an errand and when I came back, Rocky raised his crest and his wings and bobbed up and down and said his name. I take it that's good? He was happy to see me?

Sounds like the Too, happy to see you dance to me! That was fast! Rocky is obviously a friendly outgoing fellow!

He does this thing where he gestures "come here" with his beak. At least, that's what it looked like, so I obeyed, being a good slave, and he came down his cage and leaned his head against me so I could pet and kiss him. Poor baby, I think he's starved for love.

He knows a crazy bird lady when he sees one. LOL

I love coming home and opening the front door, I get fanfare from Buddy my GCA every time. To make it more personal for me (and makes Husband feel left out, lol), he does it when he sees ME, it's not for anyone else a special salute every time. Get ready, it looks like your Too is going to create something special for you, lol.

Yeah, Hubby went out a bit after I did and when he came back, he said, Rocky just looked at him like "Oh, it's you. I see you found your way home." LOL He makes the sweetest little sounds for me.

Lol...that is how my BFA is. Hubby says "How come when you come home she starts singing and saying 'I love you good girl' and when I come home she growls..lol.

Now Peanut used to favor me...and now she is more bonding to hubby:11:. She still comes to me and all, but not like she goes to him. He loves it:rolleyes:.

They are definitely opinionated when it comes to friends. If Poppy likes someone, she is friendly and vocal, if she dislikes someone, she raises all her feathers, lowers her wings and rocks side to side on her perch. She's trying to be scary, but she's so cute I want to hug her and I usually do.

Sometimes she gives my husband a hero's welcome, but most of the time she gives him the, you again, treatment.
