well poor nut, i have realised, we have been a little lax with treating her, well over treating her, hard not to as she is so darn charming when there is good (bad) food about!!!:10:

well i got the harrison pellets, some lafebers and the seed sticks when we are out (plus the other fresh stuff)

THATS IT!!:11:

so this morning she did not have her daily bread :(
when we had our breakfast, she was caged:(

she has been mostly quiet
and when she finally went for her pellets, she was grumbling an only started to eat some after squarking and making some pitiful wailing, near to lunch time:11:

but she is accepting them kinda lol after the brocoli stalks an fresh have gone:p

I understand the trials of a dieting bird quite well. My blue crown Rosa was chunky when I adopted her. Didn't hear the end of how much I was making her suffer for eating healthier for a number of weeks. I'm probably going to have to modify her diet again before too long because she has started creeping up there in weight again. She has been eating her own food then raiding Tootsie's cage and eating her's. Fortunately, the senegal Sidney was on a good diet when he arrived so I'm not as worried about his weight. He is holding firm in the mid to upper 140g range.

its not nuts weight i was worried about as she is uber active, she was getting to bad eating habits, as choosing to wait for when we ate etc and eating less an less of her pellets etc

its just so hard when they pull on your heart strings and make you feel so mean, for not letting them have the stuff they consider is theres
