Did someone ask for more Kyleigh?

My wife, the feed, and I all forgot to weight her today lol. Her last recorded weight was 1,050g. I can't remember what day it was...but I think it was day 59. She is 65 days today.

Precious! Look how happy she (and you) looks in the first pic! Then the last one where she's flat out... so funny and adorable :)!

We were together from 10:00am until 8:00pm. I think we are both exhausted now lol. Had so much fun. I am ready for her to come home!

Is Kyleigh as friendly and cuddly with everyone?

The only person she was hesitant about was my best friend. Mainly because he was so excited and rushed to her and picked up from behind. After that, she had nothing to do with him. But anyone else I can hand her over too and she just goes, and welcomes head scratches and under wings as well.

LOL! No fear for Kyleigh...

Don't worry - This dog has been raised around parrots his entire life. Carolyns quakers and conures typically enjoy rides on his back around the house.

Very special pic of Kyleigh and the dog!

I've had many dogs over the years get along very well with birds. But of course I choose very carefully and only adopt rescued breeds that are known to be potential companions temperamentally. Biggest size differential are my Goffins with Great Danes! (my birds and dogs are never left together unsupervised)

She really is getting gorgeous now....Not that she wasn't already...but I am floored by how she is looking.

She is really a beautiful girl. How long now until she goes home?

She's 10 weeks, so I am estimating another 6 weeks. The pain of patience.

The wait must be so hard. I'm such an instant gratification person, I'd be going crazy. We had to wait a month to bring Dexter home and it about killed me.

I love this! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1443219337.186226.jpg

The wait is tough, but I am lucky because the feeder is letting me see her very often. And twice a week she stays with me the entire day from 10am to 8pm. It makes the journey tons better.

Wow. He's really getting great exposure to travel and being outdoors at such a young age! Excellent! So is he already harness-trained?

We introduced it, pet her with it, and put it around her cage. She never seemed to be phased by it. I put it on her and it was a breeze. Taking it off was different mainly because I screwed up and she didn't like it. So we stopped training for the day and will continue tomorrow.

She hopped and fluttered in the air yesterday so it's getting close to that time lol
