Crimson you have the prettiest colored lovebirds I've ever seen! I want a lovebird now.. :dopey:

thanks!...just luck at the right place at the right time....they're like happy, chirpy little rainbows flying around.

I think lovebirds are terrific birds, they are small so their cage requirements are not huge, they are clever, all species are attractive, they can talk, if you have a pair, they will amuse themselves. My Fischer Lovebirds have become quite chatty lately, chirping for hours away which doesn't bother me I have an ability to just tune it out. One of the things I love most about all my birds is how, with their supersonic hearing!, actually hear me getting out of bed in the morning and greet me with calls lol. Wouldn't it be something Beth (first time I'm using your real name) if you end up creating a specific named mutation? I mean they all start somewhere don't they?

I like the names Cloud, Cloudy, Nimbus, Cirrus, or Rain. And, I want one of those red ones!

ok, now this is getting really hard....I said I was going to call him Denim, but now I love Nimbus

which one everybody??
~Denim OR
~Nimbus

I know Bill Tie-Dye is just spectacular looking. My vet Evan said it would be virtually impossible to replicate her into babies, but I'm going to do my best.

I vote for Nimbus, Nim for short :)

Beth as hard as I have tried I have not been able to get a good pic of my Fischers because they are very shy. I will try again soon and if I get anything good I will post it. On the other hand, mine look EXACTLY like yours lol - I can't even tell my two apart !!! Fischer's are so naturally pretty even without the mutations. As I'm typing this they are clucking up a storm, but let me grab the camera and you'd think I was holding a shotgun they way they scatter !

That's very cute. I know you have seen these before but this is my photobucket page that does have 2 pics of my Fischer Lovebirds, but as I said earlier, I will try to get some better pictures, I just have to be patient. hmmmm I do have a tripod I could try with that maybe will not frighten them as much - I might give that a try.

Crimson!!!!

I just read all 5 pages of people saying how cute this birdy is and I can't see any photos! lol *bangs head into keyboard* GuhhhhHhHHh!!

I am on my PC, I see photos in other threads but I can't see yours. Well....I'll just have to take everyones word for it!! Congrats!!!

Congrats
He is too beautiful
I too would have taken him home
Need to ask something not being nasty at all, is the new bird going to be in quarantine for 30 days, it is so important?
