December 2021 POTM Contest!!!

Inspired by the day to cast off your holiday frustrations, December 21st is Humbug day!
Therefore, this month's theme is...

HUMBUG!
The season to celebrate is upon us, whatever your holiday of choice.
Sometimes, despite best efforts, things aren't as perfect as we'd like, and some of us get
GRUMPY!

Yeah, there's that evil eye, letting me know I did SOMETHING wrong...​

Seriously Dad?...

That's okay though. We're allowed, and so are our birds.
Never fear, It's not all bad. We have the benefit of our loving companion birdies to bring the love and joy back to us,
and make EVERYTHING better!

So, show us your Grinchiest grumpy birds.
Show us your happy birds.
Show us some love this season!

The contest will run from now until the morning of December 29th (Eastern USA time) at which time there will be a three day polling period. Winner will be announced the morning of January 1st. The winner will receive a free, one year Premium Membership to Parrot Forums, and the winning entry will be displayed on the forum homepage for the following month.

Only one "Official Entry" per person, however, you may submit as many "Just for Fun" entries as you like! Photoshopped images will be allowed, but not required.

BTW, it's so rare that my guys are in a foul mood, it's hard to get pictures of them being annoyed. Hence the other happy, loveable side of the theme. Said it before, and I'll say it again, every day... I'm truly blessed with these two!

I totally missed to share on the last month's theme, so now I'll make it up with my favourite grmpy bird - Zeleni.
He wasn't angry - just downstraight grumpy!!! He'd always just lower his head while still looking at people and make a very low growl/prrp sound (my partner always called him "the Prp")

So here is Zeleni being grumpy self for not letting him sleep! (I miss that bird so much..)

Now THAT is a grumpy face from a beautiful boy! They have so much personality, how could we not miss them? My first ekkie, Patches, used to growl a loud "GO AWAY" or "BACK OFF" in his angry old man voice when he was grumpy and didn't want to be touched. I miss him terribly as well. They leave us with so many beautiful memories though

Love me some sweet boy Beebs! Happy birdies fit the contest theme too. (Hint, hint...)

Tucker is pretty much the same way. Almost impossible to get a grumpy pic, unless he's frustrated with the sheet of newspaper he's trying to carry up from the bottom of the cage. Then he growls if it falls back down. Too funny.

Handsome boy! My Baxter would be in love! Well the obvious question... Why on earth would Jasper have to wait more than 5 whole seconds for his walnut? Heeheehee! That's one serious face she has on there. I wouldn't be denying her those treats for fear of losing my spleen or something
