- Two cockatiels: Sharlett (Cinnamon Pied) and Data (White-Faced Pied)
Today I heard Data say something that I wasn't expecting!
Okay, so I told him and Charlotte about Bowie the parrot who has many videos on youtube (his mom's username is peekabooparrots) and showed them a bit of his videos. I also told them I wanted to make a video of them saying hi to him and send it to Bowie's mom. I discussed this with them a couple of times Data didn't seem to want to talk so I dropped the subject.
Fast forward to today and Data is in his cage, talking up a storm. (He doesn't really talk outside of his cage but he's starting to do it.) Admist all the usual chatter he said two new things: "thank you" and what sounded like "Hi Bowie!"
I guess I can still make the video.
(Sidenote: It was fun typing this when I have to keep Charlotte and Data from fighting as well as Data jumping onto my keyboard and biting my keys....and climbing on the couch.)
